Details

Minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Total time 5000 hours
  • Multi-crew, Multi-engine jet time: 2,000 hours
  • Multi-crew, Multi-engine jet PIC time:  500 hours
  • Aircraft type:  B787 or B777  type rating required
  • NOTE: No specific requirement for PIC time on type, but you should have at least 6 months’ experience as a Captain on type.
  • Current within 12 months (must have a valid/current PC).
  • Valid ATP license, valid passport, Class A Medical (validity of 3 months upon reporting)
  • Must be from a country with diplomatic ties to China
  • No incidents or accidents, no license limitations
  • No significant medical history (grounding, major surgery, etc.)

Age 56 maximum

3 Year initial contract, renewable

Contract Options: 5scheduling options:  Living in China, or Commuter.

Option 1:  42 days of paid leave per year

  • Total Monthly compensation:  $24,421 per month
  • Salary:  $20,355 (based on 828 hours per year…69 hours per month)
  • Housing allowance: $1400 per month
  • Ticket Allowance:    $500 per month
  • Travel Allowance:  $6,000per year
  • Safety Bonus:        $12,000 per 6 months
  • Medical Ins. Allow.  $166 per month
  • Instructor Bonus:    $1,000/mo
  • Overtime:  $300/hour over 69 hours/mo
  • Education allowance: $8000 per year per child, up to 2 children registered in school in Xiamen.
  • Renewal Bonus:  $15, 000 per year after the first contract. $20,000 per year after the second contract.
  • Financial performance bonus will be paid depending on company performance.
  • Training salary: During ground school:  70%.  During line training: 80%.
     Hotel is provided during training - up to 30 days.


Option 2:  Commuting:  22 days on, 8 days off  (or)

Option 3:  Commuting: 44 days on, 16 days off

  • Total Monthly compensation:  $21,569 per month (based on 744 hours per year…62 hours per month)
  • Salary:  $17,670
  • Housing allowance: $1500 per month
  • Ticket Allowance:    $500 per month
  • Travel Allowance:  $6,000per year
  • Safety Bonus:         $11,000per 6 months
  • Medical Ins. Allow.  $166 per month
  • Instructor Bonus:    $1,000/mo
  • Overtime:  $290/hour over 62 hours/mo
  • Education allowance: $8000 per year per child, up to 2 children registered in school in Xiamen.
  • Contract Renewal Bonus:  $15,000per year upon renewal of contract.  $20,000 per year after each year of the third renewed contract.
  • Financial Performance Bonus:  Additional bonus will be paid yearly depending on company financial performance.
  • Training salary: During ground school:  70%.  During line training:80%.
     Hotel is provided during training - up to 30 days.

Option 4:  Commuting:  19 days on, 11 days off  (or)

Option 5:  Commuting: 38 days on, 22 days off

  • Total Monthly compensation:  $18,857 per month  (based on660 hours per year…55 hours per month)
  • Salary:  $15,125
  • Housing allowance: $1500 per month
  • Ticket Allowance:    $500 per month
  • Travel Allowance:  $6,000per year
  • Safety Bonus:         $10,000per 6 months
  • Medical Ins. Allow.  $166 per month
  • Instructor Bonus:    $1,000/mo
  • Overtime:  $280/hour over 55 hours/mo
  • Education allowance: $8000 per year per child, up to 2 children registered in school in Xiamen.
  • Contract Renewal Bonus:  $15,000per year upon renewal of contract.  $20,000 per year after each year of the third renewed contract.
  • Financial Performance Bonus:  Additional bonus will be paid yearly depending on company financial performance.

Note about Compensation and Taxation:
The compensation amounts listed above have been provided by the airline.  The airline may pay some or all of the taxes owed in China on the different compensation amounts and provide a tax receipt to the pilot. All tax matters are handled by the airline including payment of tax and provision of a tax receipt.
