Job Details:

Minimum requirements are as follows:

  • 500 hours PIC time on A320 
  • Total time 3000 hours
  • Current within 12 months (must have a valid/current PC)
  • Valid ATP license, valid passport, Class A Medical
  • Must be from a country with diplomatic ties to China
  • No incidents or accidents, no license limitations
  •  Age 52 maximum 

Domicile – Beijing, Guangzhou, Sanya, Qingdao or Hangzhou, China

Salary amounts as follows (airline pays taxes in Chinia...see note below):

Contract Term: 3 year initial / Renewable at 5 year increments

Option 1 : 91 days paid leave per year

Total Monthly Compensation:$21,148 per month (including salary, allowance and bonus)

• $16,000USD after line check-Basic salary

• ¥17,500 RMB per month living allowance ($2,482)

• $10,000 travel allowance per year (issued every 6 months).

• $10,000 per year Safety Bonus

• $12,000 per year annual bonus (for renewals: +$1,000 per year of service)

• ¥150,000RMB Contract renewal bonus ($21,276)

• ¥7,000RMB per mo. education allowance (for schooling in China) ($993)

• 680 hours annual block hours

  • Overtime: 0-100 hours…$ 200/hour

                   101+ hours....$300/hour

Option 2: 121 days paid leave per year

Total Monthly Compensation:  $18,301 per month (including salary, allowance and bonus)

• $15,000USD after line check-Basic salary

• ¥8,400 RMB per month living allowance ($1,135)

• $8,000 travel allowance per year (issued every 6 months).

• $8,000 per year Safety Bonus

• $10,000 per year annual bonus (for renewals: +$1,000 per year of service)

• ¥150,000RMB Contract renewal bonus ($21,276)

• ¥7,000RMB per mo. education allowance (for schooling in China) ($993)

• 600 hours annual block hours

  • Overtime: 0-100 hours…$ 200/hour

                   101+ hours....$300/hour

Option 3: 182 days paid leave per year

Total Monthly Compensation:  $14,576 per month (including salary, allowance and bonus)

• $12,000USD after line check-Basic salary

• ¥7,000 RMB per month living allowance ($993)

• $6,000 travel allowance per year (issued every 6 months).

• $6,000 per year Safety Bonus

• $7,000 per year annual bonus (for renewals: +$1,000 per year of service)

• ¥150,000RMB Contract renewal bonus ($21,276)

• ¥7,000RMB per mo. education allowance (for schooling in China) ($993)

• 470 hours annual block hours

  • Overtime: 0-100 hours…$ 200/hour

                   101+ hours....$300/hour

Benefits:

Tuition Assistance:  For children who are educated in China, each pilot is given an education subsidy (approximately $ 1,000 per month).  Pilot may be required to show the Study Certificate and receipt of payment of tuition. The education subsidy is paid monthly with wages. 

Health Insurance:  BCA will provide Crew Members with international health insurance (excluding full medical care in the United States).

Employee Travel:

Crew Members and/or their immediate family members are entitled to unlimited staff discount standby tickets within BCA’s network.

Additional Information:

Chinese income taxes will be paid by Capital Airlines. Expat status may dramatically reduce your national tax liability. Consult your CPA for tax advice.

Note about Compensation and Taxation:
The compensation amounts listed above have been provided by the airline.  The airline has agreed to pay all taxes owed in China on the different compensation amounts and provide a tax receipt to the pilot. All tax matters are handled by the airline including payment of tax and provision of a tax receipt. WASINC does not pay taxes on behalf of either the pilot or airline, nor does it provide tax receipts.  As taxes in China vary by jurisdiction and the type of payment received, we highly recommend that all candidates confirm directly with the airline as to how much tax is paid in China in order to obtain a full understanding of the compensation associated with the job listing.  Pilots are ultimately responsible for any tax owed in their home country which may or may not be affected by tax paid by the airline.
