Loong Air

Zhejiang Loong Airlines Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 浙江长龙航空有限公司),founded in April 19, 2011, is based in Hangzhou. Approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, it started domestic services in 2013. Originally named Zhejiang Loong International Cargo Airline CO.,LTD (Chinese: 长龙国际货运航空有限公司, also known as Zhejiang Loong Cargo), a Chinese domestic cargo airlines. Zhejiang Loong Airlines proposes to serve China domestic destination and set Hangzhou as a hub .

 

Loong received its first A320in Hangzhou on Dec 16, 2013; the 2nd arrived soon after on Dec 22,2013 . Its first flight started from December 29, 2013 from Hangzhou to Chongqing and Hangzhou to Shenzhen. For the first half of 2014, Loong will have four more new A320, going into operation in March, April, May and June, respectively; for the second half year of 2014, 3 more A320 will come, which means by the end of 2014, Loong will have 12 aircraft in total, 9 A320+3 B737.On the 25 September 2013 the airline signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus for the purchase of 20 Airbus A320 twin-engine aircraft, which will go into full operation by the year of 2020. Now LoongAir has flights to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuhan, Xi’an, Yingchuan, Luoyang etc. They are planning to include more cities like Beijing, Qingdao, Kunming, Xiamen, Lanzhou, Nanchang, Guilin, Urumqi, Nanning, Xining, Hohhot, Sanya, Haikou, Shi Jia Zhuang, Guiyang, etc. They have the following fleet:
